African Tulip Tree(Spathodea companulata) is native to West Kenya and Uganda.Also sometimes called Fire Tree, Flame of the Forest , Fountain Tree.
The seeds are edible.The bark, flowers and leaves are used in traditional medicine in Western Africa. The soft, white timber used in making paper.
It is listed as invasive weeds by Hawaii Weed Risk Assessment(WRA)
